1. Platform use

Biddo provides an online marketplace for competitive bidding. By registering or using the service you agree to these terms and to conduct all activity lawfully and in good faith.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials. Sellers may be required to complete identity verification before listing high-value items. We may suspend accounts that breach platform rules, fail to ship after a sale, or accumulate payment strikes.

3. Auctions & bidding

A bid is a binding offer to purchase at the stated amount if you win. Shill bidding, bid manipulation, and retracting winning bids without cause are prohibited. The highest valid bid when the timer ends wins, subject to reserve prices where disclosed.

4. Payments & escrow

Winning buyers must pay within the stated window via PayHere. Funds are held in escrow until delivery is confirmed or a dispute is resolved. Platform commission and courier fees are disclosed before checkout.

5. Disputes

Buyers may open a dispute within the delivery window if an item is not as described or not received. Biddo may request evidence from both parties and will release or refund escrow according to platform policy.

6. Limitation of liability

The platform is provided "as is." We are not a party to the sale contract between buyer and seller except for payment escrow services described above. Our liability is limited to the extent permitted under Sri Lankan law.
